Anyone who can tell me what movie my title is quoted from gets serious horse-loving points from me. (hint-hint)
I'm too tired and too sick to write an individual post, so I give you another email to Gregory, written this morning:
Hey Bud! I'm sorry to hear about your foot. I hope you're able to find the source of the problem and have it taken care of. It would probably be a good idea to head to the American hospital, the sooner you get it checked out, the better. It my just be a cyst, in which case they would just lance it and put you on antibiotics and you'll be good as new in a few days. Better than hobbling along on an old man cane for a few weeks :)
So, having three kids under the age of four is a little overwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone :) My blog has been seriously suffering, so I've starting posting the emails I send you. They're pretty comprehensive, and I don't have the energy to write it all twice, so I just copy and paste. I'm such a slacker :)
Jaina just dropped something and said "uh-oh! An abbident!" Anytime something falls, drops, or makes a loud noise, it's an "abbident". She's pretty hilarious. Her vocabulary is amazing. She's throwing out new words and phrases every day. "Open it!" "Take a bath!" and "Gabba Gabba!" That last one is a kid's show, the only one she ever requests. It's a little trippy, I think you'd like it :)
A few weeks ago I took Malachi back to the pediatrician for his 4-month well baby check. But the poor kid was really sick again. The pediatrician finally agreed with me that it was probably not just a virus, and did a nasal swab to be cultured. It took a week to get the results back, and they were positive for several different kinds of bacteria. So he was put on some serious antibiotics for two weeks. He just took his last dose this morning. I took him to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor), who said he had smaller than average nasal passages, and that his normal mucous production was enough to overwhelm his little nose. So he's on steroid drops for his nose. A few days after starting the antibiotics he was breathing clearly for the first time since he was about 3 weeks old. And then, we all got colds, even him! So not fair! But he got the least of us all and is over it now. I'm so glad he's finally healthy. He's so behind on his regular vaccines now, we'll be playing catch-up for a while.
We'll be starting Libby in soccer this summer. The girl gets seriously bored during the day. We're joining a gym that has a great kid's gym with climing walls and jungle gyms and ball pits and stuff so she and Jaina can get out and socialize and get some exercise while I get some time to be alone and swim. I'm really looking forward to that. We're also looking into getting a climbing dome for the backyard. I'm excited to see her play soccer. I think she'll really enjoy it. John thinks she's very agile and that soccer is something she can excel in as she gets older. I was never very good at it, so we'll see :)
John left this morning for Birmingham. He's pretty much done with the Atlanta project, and they lured him over to the Birmingham one. I'm not real excited to have him gone for a week. I'm OK handling all these kids until dinner time. Then all heck breaks loose and there's always someone crying, and don't get me started on bedtime. It's a nightmare!
There you have it folks. Sorry to be such a bore :)

I have not even a clue what movie that's from. I'm TERRIBLE about stuff like that. But I do know what you mean about "until dinnertime." Good luck this week. Call or chat if you just want to commiserate. :)
