A walk in the woods

We went up to the Natural Science Museum today for a "hike" in the woods.  Libby likes to sit on big rocks and have her picture taken for some reason:

We saw a few plants we weren't familiar with, so I took some pictures so I could ask an employee after our walk. Here's an Agave plant.  It will be blooming soon, so we're planning on going back next week to see it's flowers.

This one is a Mexican Plum:

Poison Ivy!  I had forgotten how to tell poison Ivy from poison oak and sumac.  Turns out there's only posion ivy in Texas!  But there's three different kinds and they all look different, so we had a little poison ivy mini-lesson.

Libby found a HUGE nightcrawler on the path.  She showed him off then tossed him in the grass so he wouldn't get stepped on.
mmmm....lunch!

No pictures of Isaac because he was asleep on my back :)
