After years of crashing laptops and less-than-stellar service from HP, and months with no computer access at all (hence the absence from blogger), we finally, finally, finally got a new computer. I wanted a desktop this go-round and it arrived Friday in all it's large glory. And I couldn't be happier. I've spent the last few days restoring the iTunes library I lost in the last crash. Luckliy, 90% of my purchased music was backed up. I permanently lost a few favorites, and one entire album that I think I'll buy again. Since iTunes didn't recognize alot of my burned music, I had to sit and listen to each song and remember the name, artist, and album. Fun times, I tell ya. But I'm done with that part and am close to done loading all my favorite cds into iTunes. Then I'll spend a few days re-creating my playlists, loading music onto my iPhone and John's iPod, and then a few more days uploading and backing up all the pictures and videos we've taken since the last crash.
A lot has happened this summer. We took a 3-week trip to NC for my brother's wedding, wnd inside that trip went to DC for my Grandma's funeral. I turned 28, Jaina turned 2, Libby turned 4, and Malachi turned 1 just last week. Ack! We've done a lot of fun stuff. Details and pics of all that (except my b-day, uneventful and unrecorded, I know you're so disappointed) to come. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this:

Cause babies falling asleep in high chairs are universally cute.
