A Day in the Life of the Texas Souths

This is what John sees every morning when he leaves for work.
We start the day slowly with a bottle of Kefir milk (peach, strawberry, blueberry, whatever is handy). We try not to do anything exciting for a while, it takes some time for me to wake up enough to cope :)

Next comes "Laundry Peek-a-boo". Libby loves to empty the laundry baskets, clean or dirty, and walk around with laundry on her head.

While making lunch, Libby likes to "help" by emptying out the fridge.
Sometimes, Libby gets to go out to eat with John. A few weeks ago they went to Mickey D's after a morning of apartment hunting. Libby likes Nuggets!
I can't do dishes until Libby is asleep, or else this happens:
After naptime, Libby plays happily in her crib. She like to pull out her dresser drawer and empty it. Usually I will find clothes in the crib and bottles and pacifiers in the drawer!
Afternoons are spent climbing barriers:

and sitting in toy baskets:

In the evenings, Libby plays on the computer with me (and empties my wallet):

Eats dinner at the hotel dining room:

And plays with John:

Then it's off to bed, finally!
OK, so our days (and nights) revolve around our daughter. Isn't that how it should be?

Wish you were still here, Libby and Calla are two peas in a pod...
