Now, I'm not naming any names, but let's say that someone, we'll call him Juan, befouled the bathroom last night. 3 minutes later, Juan's daughter, Lilly, proclaims that she needs to "poot". Bathroom-related activities are usually Jaun's responsibility, but Juan's wife, Kristine, has already finished her dinner, and Juan is still eating. Juan looks imploringly at his wife, and she takes Lilly to "poot". Now, it just so happens, that Kristine is pregnant, and gags at just about everything. And she just ate. And now she is sitting on the edge of the tub, trying not to breathe Juan's "smell" through her nose while Lilly adds her own scent to the mix. But breathing her mouth triggers her gag reflex. But she can't breathe through her nose because the smell is triggering it as well. So Kristine walks out of the bathroom and says to Juan, "I think it's only fair that the person who stinks up the bathroom should be the person that has to sit in there for 15 minutes while the kid poops". Juan laughs and looks pointedly at his not-empty plate and returns to his book. Kristine returns to the bathroom, and cleans Lilly's bum, gagging the whole time.
My question to you is this: Was Kristine's statement to Juan fair? Should Juan have delayed his dinner to attend to Lilly's needs, or was Kristine just being a weinie?

I am laughing so hard I can't even remember what you asked. Lucky for me and for you there is a show original post link. Woohoo. First off all Kristine is a super nice wife to even offer to take on Juan's responsibilities so he could finish his dinner. Once Juan noticed (he should have noticed) that Kristine was about to lose her dinner he should have taken over.
I think regardless of who stinks up the bathroom, pregnancy is trumps every time. There will be lots of times during the day that you have to do gross things and that's just the way it is. But when another person is there, the gross stuff passes to them automatically. At least that's how it works around here. :) Hypothetically, that is...
Jay and I both agree that Kristine carrying Juan's baby trumps Juan eating dinner and so he should have had to sit in the smelly bathroom and wipe the smelly bum.
