Libby turned 5 on Tuesday. I'm still not sure how that happened. We celebrated with the requested "Pirate dinosaur" cake. I wouldn't try to sell this thing, but I thought it came out pretty cool. And Libby was beside herself. I even made it GF and couldn't tell the difference in the taste OR texture, which is pretty rare. Libby wanted to eat the head and Jaina wanted to eat the shirt. They also wanted to lick the frosting words off the pan, but I denied them that little lark.
Jaina likes cake.
Malachi, not so much.
Libby LOVED the cake. And her presents. Like this one:
An 8 inch tall model of a T-Rex. The thing goes with her everywhere. Everywhere. She even sleeps with it, even though it hurts her when she rolls over on it in the middle of the night. She is devoted. I am happy.
Libby's 5-year-old faves:
Dinosaurs (duh)
Chocolate
Swimming
Watching 1970's Godzilla cartoons on Netflix
Anything weather related. She checks the forcast obsessivly.
Reading (well, being read to)
Running
Running
Running
She's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.

Libby's T. Rex needs to meet Andrew's T. Rex, Owen. Owen and Andrew are inseparable. Yes, he sleeps with it and Owen MUST be present when he watches dinosaur train. Ethan is the one, though, that checks the weather constantly. Mostly to get his screen fix when his game time is all spent.
