I'm a good mom, really I am!

This morning before leaving for work, John told me Libby had eaten a lot of oatmeal and raisins for breakfast. After I had been up for a bit, Libby brought me a sealed bag of 'Nilla Wafers and said "By, by" which is her word for both "goodbye" and "bite". Since this wasn't accompanied by waving, I deduced that she was asking for a cookie, not saying goodbye to them. I opened the bag, dumped the wafers in a tupperware, and handed her a few. About every 10 minutes since then she has brought me the tupperware and asked for a "bite". Finally full of wafers, Libby climbed up on a dining chair and shook all the crumbs out of the empty wafer bag. She then bent down and began licking the crumbs off the table. You would think the girl was starving!

She did this until all that was left was a smear of vanilla wafer goo. What a mess! Should I feel bad for allowing my baby to lick crumbs off my table? I hope not, cause I don't!

At least it's the table. Thomas has recently taught Jerry to eat Fruit Loops and Lucky Charms off the floor before I get them swept up. They call it eating like a doggie.

So cute and funny! Last night we had a cookout at neal & amanda's. It was after 8:30 and we were on our way out and I see elise with two hot dogs wrapped up in a paper towel. She was taking two for the road. You'd think we hadn't actually eaten dinner a mere hour or so before. Too busy playing to eat? Let's hope so. She had the two hot dogs scarfed down in no time. :)
