Working Girl

Well folks, I finally found a job to pay for my teeth. I am now a "professional babysitter" with Seeking Sitters. If you don't feel like reading through the whole website, I'll tell you all about it. It's a pretty cool system. Once a month I log onto the system and fill out what days and hours I am available to work. Then, when a client puts in a request for a sitter, the system pops up which sitters are available during that time. The client can request a specific sitter, or have one assigned. The manager said that what happens after a few months is that each sitter develops a relationship with a few families and sits solely for them. When I am given an assignment, I have the option to accept or decline the assignment, no questions asked. And it is all done online. Pretty cool, huh?
