The time has come - the sweet little Combi stroller that I love just doesn't cut it anymore. I went to the park with the girls yesterday, and walking back with Jaina in the sling and Libby in the stroller was so not fun. The reasons why:
1) Our stroller is short
2) Jaina weighs a ton and having her strapped to my chest for long periods of time while leaning forward to push the short handled stroller kills my back
3) The stroller is a killer to steer when Libby is in it
4) The stroller is a killer to steer when Jaina is in it
5) The basket is way too small for two kids' worth of stuff
6) Our city sidewalks look like they have been through a couple earthquakes. "Strolling" is not what we do, it's more like off-roading
7) Go faster than a leisurely walk and the wheels go all wonky
So here's where you come in - I need your opinions and experience. I'm looking for a side-by-side double jogging stroller.
My musts:
Large canopies
Independantly reclining seats
Swivel front wheel that can also lock
I want to know all about your love-hate relationships with your double strollers. Lay it on me!

The one I have been dreaming of is the Schwinn Twin TT Safari (something like that). I also like the Phil and Ted's. My sister-in-law has the Mountain Buggy that she swears by. Good luck, and happy hunting!
I think we have had 11 strollers that I can remember with our 4 children. Various sizes, types and prices. Sadly and almost unbelievably, I have litterally no good suggestions. I will tell you that we wore almost all of them out and out grew the rest, only one really old one that was a hand me down did we just get rid of because we hated it. Hope you find the perfect one.
We have a BOB double jogger that we bought used off craigslist when Camille was a baby and we love it! We have used it so much that the tires are starting to go bald. Really. The model we have is probably six or seven years old now but still in really great shape. I'm not sure how much they are exactly, but I know they're pretty pricey so I'd NEVER buy one brand new, but it may be worth a look on your local cragislist to see what you can find. Good luck with your search!
The double wide strollers at least the one we bought years ago was too big to fit through doors. We had to take a wheel off to get it through. Get an ergo (or beco butterfly) instead and a simple stroller with long handle bars (even a decent umbrella one).
