My laptop is acting up again, not receiving power from the cord. This is the third time we will have to send it in for repairs - less than two months after the last "repair". It would help if they actually knew how to fix it, but since they don't even know why it does this, they just replace a few things (including the hard drive - every time!) and send it back. They say is this happens one more time before our warranty runs out they'll replace it for us. Why 4 times? Why not 3? Will they count last time because after the cord problems started the entire system crashed?
The thing I hate most about this is being without a computer. John's work was giving away used desktops a few weeks ago and I told him he could bring home the CPU unit and accessories, but could only bring home a monitor if it was a flat screen since I don't want to store a humongous monitor for no reason. I got your reason right here. I'll ask him to see if there is a monitor he can borrow for a while. I can hear the "I told you so's" already.

Man, that stinks! I hope you get it all worked out. There are a lot of worldly possessions I'd get rid of before my computer. :) Good luck.
