It's about time I told you about my birthday, isn't it?
John came home from work bearing beautiful dark purple carnations (carnations are one of my favorite flowers), and my favorite Brooklyn's pizza. That's how I know he loves me - the dinner he brought home was something he couldn't eat, but he got it because he knew I liked it. He got a chef salad from the pizzaria for himself.
I had told him I wanted the movie Flicka, but when he went to Target (where I had seen it for $7.50), they not longer had it. So my gifts were true surprises - an iTunes gift card (I got the Taylor Swift album I've wanted forever, and Jewel's new album - her country music debut (it's really, really good!)), a People magazine, and a pile of treats. After dinner I took the magazine and some treats and took a bubble bath. What a nice night!

Happy late birthday- I MISS YOU! I just LOVE reading about your escapades in Mommy-dom- you are so funny how you put things!
Having two is NO piece of cake-- but then again, neither is having one. I believe the real adjustment is just not sleeping and that happens either way!
We are well- as you can see I am still only a mommy of two...sigh...still waiting on that one! Keep us posted on life in TX!
