This is the "Dirty Car Artist". He brought an SUV, covered it in dirt, then using a dry paintbrush, he "painted" images in the dirt. Very fun to watch.
Then there was Chris Harris, "The Bucket Man". I thought he was super awesome. Amazingly, Jaina slept through his performance.
There was also a demonstration of Raku pottery firing.
This is the end product:
Towards the end we were treated to a performance by the "Seed and Feed Marching Abominable". I thought my brother Gregory would fit right in in about 30 years. And maybe Dad could take over the last guy's job. Jaina slept through this as well.
Around lunch time we started browsing the food vendors. I was disgusted at the prices - $7 for 4 chicken strips, and fries an additional $4. What a rip-off! So we browsed the Kashi and Whole Foods stands and filled up on granola, fruit leather, rice chips, and organic juice, all for free. Yummy! A great time was had by all. Now we are looking forward to the Greek Festival in a few weeks. Greek food is definitely worth inflated prices!
