Now Comes The Fun (and expensive) Part!

After a few minutes with the scissors, a shower, and a few more minutes with the scissors and blow dryer, my hair is looking a little better:

The product I bought last night (which cost more than the haircut - there's your sign) makes my hair greasy, so now I get to go to Target and experiment with products until I find the right one.

Also, I'm debating hair color. This cut makes my grey hair more obvious. It's no longer just a streak, it's coming in all over. John says "Hair color changes, I don't see any point in dyeing it". Good man. But, I'm still on the fence. In general, I like to "go natural". But grey hair at 26? I don't know...

What's your opinion on hair-color-in-a-bottle?

Like you need me to tell you this, but it's just so high maintenance. I think I'll be tempted just like you are now when I see a few more greys (of course, I'm 36, not 26, so it's a little different that way, too.) but I just can't see keeping up with it as often as it needs it... but I'm a lazy bum, so what else is new. :)

But I love the cut. Very cute.

I'm a huge fan of short hair. (I actually just got mine cut in a similar style about a week ago.) So I love it. As for hair color in a bottle, I love it. I haven't colored as much recently, because it can be a hassle to keep up with. But I love playing around with different colors. If you match your existing hair color really closely, though, the upkeep is much, much less than it would be otherwise. Just a few of my thoughts. Can't wait to see what you decide!!!

I'm all for haircolor in a bottle- get the 28 shampoo's stuff, and it really does cover grey and isn't nearly as hard to maintain-- this is coming from someone who thought it would be fun to dye her hair red (permanent), and is still dealing with the effects 10 months later...
But before you go the "dying" route- there is this product you can get at Walmart- its in a bottle and you squeeze it on after shampooing your hair and don't wash it out and it covers the grey (or nasty red) and doesn't cost that much, plus its easy to use and doesn't really change your haircolor -its called "fanci Full" cheesy name but my moms been using it for years, and it did help cover some of my "red disaster"
