Too Sleepy

Last night John and I went to check on Libby before going to bed. John tried to open her door, but it would only open about 2 inches. He couln't see to find out what the blockage was, but that door wasn't budging. So he got down on the floor and peeked under the door, and there was Libby, fast asleep! She had her little hand under the door as well. John started poking her hand and arm, hoping to disturb her enough so that she would roll over nad allow him the room to get in. But it didn't work. She shifted after a few minutes and he was able to get the door open to about 4 inches. Then he stuck his arm in the door and shook her leg until she rolled over and he was able to get into her room and get her back in bed. It took some rocking and Vicks Vapo-Rub to get her back to sleep because she was pretty congested. But after that she did sleep through the night.

This morning we are both coughing up our lungs and are smeared again with Vick's (the lotion, not the greasy stuff). Hopefully these colds will run their course soon. They have moved quickly, from fever to head to chest, and I'm hoping they don't just settle in for the long haul. Libby and I have been getting dosed with echinacea and grapefruit seed extract to help boost our immune systems, and our daily vitamins are packed with vitamin C. I just want the family to be healthy when this baby is born!

oh boy!!! I hope you guys can get over this and just have time and health to welcome the baby. :) You know, May 14th is a great day to be born. I ought to know. ;) I'm rooting for Wednesday. (Of course that's assuming you don't have it immediately!!! That's my first choice. :))

I always look for people who are worse off than I am when life is really hard for me. Well, right now my life is really quite great and here you are blowing all my statistics out of the water. I will have to save your posts for when a hurricane hits and the children all come down with food poisoning and Jay has run off to save the world and some other crisis that I can't think of comes up.
You have got to get well and have this baby.
