I Won!

A few weeks ago I got a newsletter from The Nest Baby, a website I visit from time to time. The Nest Baby was having a giveaway for a K'Tan Baby Carrier. You may not know, but I am a baby carrier collector. I have two ring slings, a mei tai, and a pouch. All I have been missing is a wrap. But they are expensive ($60!), so I didn't think I'd be getting one anytime soon. So i jumped at this chance.

To enter the contest, you had to submit a post about your worst travel experience with your kid(s). The first thought that came to mind was our trip to NC back in September. Not the trip itself, but the flight home. If you recall, I woke up in the middle of the night, hours before we were to leave, with a raging fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. And it didn't quit just because I got a plane. And Libby was tired and didn't want anyone but me, and when I tried singing her to sleep the guy in front of me kept giving me dirty looks. I wanted to ask him "which do you prefer, my singing, or her screaming?" But I didn't, because I'm nice.

Apparantly, my story was horrible enough to win the contest. See, good things come from bad expeiences! Now all I have to do is decide what color I want.
