John has been traveling back and forth from Atlanta for 4 weeks now. He was really looking forward to a break from travelling next week, I was looking forward to utilizing his muscle to help me move furniture, and we were all looking forward to actually being able to spend some time together. Then he called me this morning to tell me that they are sending him back on Tuesday. To be honest, I did cry a little. I tried not to, and was doing well being upbeat, when John said "we need to do something fun tomorrow". My response: "We don't have time to do something fun, I need you to help me do stuff around the house!" Because now, he won't be home until the first week in May, and that might be too late to rearrange furniture and I really, really want the carload of goodwill items currently sitting in my foyer and living room to actually make it to The Samaritan Inn before the baby is born. In five weeks. Hopefully not sooner. Because then John might not be here.
Last night when John finally made it home (flights were delayed because of bad weather), he walked in the door and Libby went nuts. She started laughing hysterically and running the circuit from kitchen to living room around the fireplace wall, then into John's arms. Then back around the circuit, back to John for another hug, lather, rinse, repeat about 6 times. So nice to see how happy she was to see her Daddy. So sad to know it will happen again next week. And the next. And the next. And the next.

You poor dear. Here's a hug from me. I don't do well when Cory's away. The first night or couple of nights aren't so bad. We order pizza, we all sleep in the bed, we have a mini-party. Then reality sets in and we're lonesome and want him back pronto. He does so much to help us that its just not the same when he's not here. We're just our happiest when we're all together. Will this traveling keep up for very long or is this a short-term thing? Hang in there and I hope you're able to get lots of of work done and still manage to squeeze in a little fun. :)
